'Not quite a caravan but so much more than a tent'
If you love the outdoors but aren't keen on struggling with putting up your own tent, or towing a caravan, our camping cabins could be the ideal choice for you.
These cosy yet spacious, 2 person cabins have their own decking area for sitting and cooking (camping stove hire available), a proper kingsize bed with mattress & sheet, fridge, table and chairs, hanging wardrobe, under bed storage boxes, large velux window for star gazing, kettle, toaster, lighting, full length mirror, electric heater and power sockets.
And if you don't fancy cooking for yourself, why not treat yourself to a takeaway or meal out? Local indian restaurant - Cinnamon will deliver or you can get a good deal from our Old Oaks Good Food Club members.
Maybe you're a hardy camper or discerning caravanner, but have friends who aren't? This is the perfect way for you all to holiday together.
3 cabins are situated in The Orchard which also has grass pitches for tents and hard standings for caravans and motorhomes and the other 3 cabins are at the top of The Birches. See our site plan.
Our fantastic Camping Cabins with their unique design, larch exterior and sturdy canvas canopy are made by skilled craftsman, John Tucker, who was born and bred in Glastonbury. The trade name for the Camping Cabin is The E-den. Find more information about the designer and product here.

'It makes 'camping' possible again for my disabled husband. After 30 years of camping, we thought our fresh air holidays were over. When my 90 year old husband had a fall 3 years ago, we sold our tent and resigned ourselves to B&B breaks. It was real treat to stay in your cabin and your disabled facilities are excellent'. |
'More spacious than a tent, like the convenience of not having to pitch a tent after a long drive, spacious, comfortable, affordable. The cabins are a truly brilliant idea'.

'It has been one of the best weekends I have had for years. I will be back for sure'. |
'Warmer, quieter and more space than a tent. Lovely skylight, sheltered deck, lovely comfy bed. Warm at night, cool during the day. |
'More luxurious, easier. NO BUGS! It's quirky and cute, cosy, quiet, warm but still with 'outdoors' feeling'. |
'Much more comfortable than a tent, especially as it was raining heavily! Star viewing window is great. The cabins are a great addition and we can now visit much later in the season.' |

'I like the mirror that makes me look a stone lighter and 6' tall!' |
'Warm, dry, comfy, spacious & fun! Kitted out really well - it's also a work of art. A great way to camp when it's cold & wet. A luxury camping experience'. |
