Dog walking / minding service by local business
Much as you love your dog, sometimes it's not always possible to take them to the places you want to visit whilst on your holiday, so to help dog owners and dogs alike, we've teamed up with Glastonbury Dog Walkers to bring you a unique service which will allow you to do a spot of shopping or visit the non dog friendly local attractions without the worry of what to do with your pet.
For full details or to discuss your individual needs, please call Tracy or Cath on 01458 898083, or email them email@example.com.
Dedicated doggie washing machine and dryer
Our amazing new shower and facilities block, Middle Oaks, which opened in July 2012 has it's very own washing machine and dryer dedicated to washing dog blankets, dog bedding and any other doggy related paraphernalia. This gives non-dog owners the reassurance that their washing will be hair free. It's hard to believe, but not everyone is dog-friendly - shocking I know!
Situated outside our 2 shower blocks and reception (where there's a umbrella and water bowl), you will find our secure' dog stops', where you can park your little mate while you go about your business, safe in the knowledge that they'll be right where you left them on your return.
Welcoming responsible dog owners
A polite reminder to our customers who bring their pets/dogs on holiday.
Whilst we welcome dogs to the Old Oaks, and have taken great care to provide the best of facilities for dogs, we are a tranquil park for dog owners and non-dog owners alike. All of our guests expect and deserve a peaceful holiday.
Dogs that cause excessive noise, display aggressive behaviour, and owners who neglect cleaning up after their pets may be reminded of their obligations to our other guests and to the park.
It's important to note that we ask guests not to leave their pets unattended on the pitch when they leave the park if there is any chance that the dog may become distressed or cause a problem for other guests.
We do reserve the right to refuse customers or ask them leave the Old Oaks should their behaviour disrupt the tranquility of the park and /or prove a nuisance to other guests.
