New for 2012 - Daily minibus service
We're really fortunate that our touring park is located in a gorgeous rural spot, away from any main roads, traffic and noise, but that does mean we're not on a bus route, which isn't such great news for motorhomers or backpackers. So we've teamed up with Glastonbury taxi firm DNA to provide a minibus service for Old Oaks guests.
There'll be daily trips into Glastonbury, Street & Wells and also trips to local pubs / restaurants in the evenings.

Old Oaks produce boxes - we do your shopping!
Many guests have commented that they'd like to see more fresh fruit, veg and produce in our campsite shop. Over the past 26 years we've tried hard to stock all the essentials for the modern day camper or caravanner, however, the one area we've always struggled with is stocking fresh produce. The majority of guests either bring the bulk of their food with them, or will visit the local supermarket to stock up (nothing wrong with that, I admit to doing the same when I go on holiday) but the result is that we're consistently left with soggy veg, brown lettuce and wrinkled fruit!
In an effort to combat this issue, reduce waste and at the same time help support local businesses, we've introduced our new Old Oaks Local Produce Boxes.
Here's how it works - make your choice of box or boxes, pre-order and pay by calling 01458 831437, collect on arrival. Simple. Just one less thing to think about.
Dog sitting / dogwalking service
Much as you love your dog, sometimes it's not always possible to take them to the places you want to visit whilst on your holiday, so to help dog owners and dogs alike, we've teamed up with Glastonbury Dog Walkers to bring you a unique service which will allow you to do a spot of shopping or visit the non dog friendly local attractions without the worry of what to do with your pet.
