21st Feb - South West Model Show - Fleet Air Arm Museum The biggest of its kind in the South West and will typically attract some 2,000 visitors. Over 120 traders and clubs will be exhibiting everything from model aircraft, boats, figures, tanks and dioramas. Features flying displays and lots more.

Sat 22nd Feb - Giant Flea Market at Bath & West Showground (9.5m). The fair has 200+ stands inside and many more outside with everything for sale from toys, cd's, cards, sweets, clothes, books, antiques, jewellery, militaria, ornaments, furniture and so much more

14th & 15th March - The Avalon Faery Fayre & Steampunk Market - Celebrate spring in Glastonbury at the Avalon Faery Ball and Faery Fayre. The theme for the weekend is Alice in Faeryland, with a special Mad Hatter’s Tea Party theme at the evening Faery Ball. Music and exhibitors will be announced soon. Ticket price to the Faery Ball is £20 Daytime entry to the Faery Fayre is FREE!

14th - 16th March - Antiques and Collectors Fair at Bath & West Showground (9.5m). Weekend antiques fairs have been renowned for their quality and quantity for over 20 years. There are over 500 stands, undercover and outside, with a wide range of antiques to suit every house and taste.

Featuring all the latest Motorhomes from the leading manufacturers and a host of accessories, gizmos and gadgets that enhance our enjoyment of the outdoor lifestyle. Visitors will be able to see a whole raft of new 2013 models as they wander through the halls that house the exhibition, as well as many outdoor exhibits nestled around the halls.

23rd - 26th April - Creative Crafts Show - Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet - The show provides the perfect opportunity to gather inspiration, pick up some new materials and exchange ideas and tips to try at home. All types of crafts are catered for at the Show including paper craft, beading, ribbon craft and embroidery. There is something to suit any expert or beginner with a wonderful variety of workshops.

TBC - Glastonbury Road Run - Its main event the "Round the Tor 10K" passes right by the end of The Old Oaks drive. The 10K event, one of the largest races in the county of Somerset, is a mainly rural course that undulates around the ancient and mysterious Isle of Avalon, starting and finishing within a stones throw of the alleged burial place of King Arthur within the grounds of Glastonbury Abbey. 3k, 5k and school runs also take place. Open to everyone.

27th May - 30th May- Royal Bath & West Show - Shepton Mallet. The country's biggest rural festival and there really is something for everyone, from food lovers to families and farmers to fashionistas! Over 600 trade stands to the National Cheese Awards and the UK’s biggest cider competition. Chance to experience canoeing, visit an art exhibition, sample some of the best British produce, see birds of prey in the or watch some of the finest animals in the country.

Experience the unique Glastonbury Abbey ruins as never before. The grounds will be spectacularly lit with coloured lights, helping to create a fabulous atmosphere and the perfect opportunity visitors to see their shadows dancing with them on the ruins. An amazing line-up of talented local musicians will perform in various areas across the site.
