Looking for a tranquil break away from it all this year? For one year only, Old Oaks will be open for Christmas and New Year* (and right through until Nov 2021). Our wonderful county of Somerset, with it’s sweeping landscapes, diverse wildlife and beautiful scenery is the perfect place to spend some time at our five star touring and glamping park. *Just 2 pitches left for New Year! (as of 10pm 12/10). A few pitches for Christmas dates remain. Be quick!
Kick back and truly relax in the tranquility of our rural location. If your cup of tea is peace and quiet, walks, nature and cosying up in your van, this is the place for you.
Initially, we are offering pitches and glamping accommodation for a minimum of 5 nights between 21st Dec and 2nd Jan. We may be able to offer shorter stays closer to the time. To enable our wonderful team some well deserved time off with their own loved ones, arrivals are not possible on 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 31/12 and 01/01 and shop / reception times will not be open on these dates. It is important to note also that our cleaning team will also be taking a break and so we ask that guests use their own facilities on the dates listed.
Prices start at £197.50 for touring pitches and £425 for glamping. Check availability here.
We don’t have any festive parties planned, however, if current Covid restrictions allow, guests are very welcome to use our Tourist Information room for their own get togethers.
We’re working on a list of places to eat out at the moment.

The Somerset Starling Spectacular!
December and January are the very best times to witness something truly incredible at the nearby Avalon Marshes. Each afternoon at Westhay and Ham Wall nature reserves, thousands and thousands of starlings go home to roost, creating huge clouds and swirling murmurations across the skies. The sight and sound is like no other and is considered one of the best in the UK.
We look forward to welcoming you to Old Oaks.
