Glastonbury Abbey Tree Tour 2023

Join a small group for a tree walk and talk around Glastonbury Abbey

with Matt Witt of To The Trees.

This is a gentle informative walk with regular stops. Matt will introduce some of the prominent British native trees in the abbey’s collection, as well as some of the interesting non-native species.

Matt will talk at length about the trees, provide tree ident tips and punctuate the journey with recitals of seasonal poetry.

The walk incorporates:

  • 1.5 hour guided walk
  • An introduction to the abbey trees
  • Tree Ident techniques
  • Conversation on nature
  • Poetry readings

The tour starts at 11am and will last for around one and a half hours. Please join the tour in the courtyard next to St. Patrick’s chapel. Only tree tour ticket holders can join the tour.

Your tree tour ticket also includes admission to Glastonbury Abbey for the day.

Tickets cost £18 are not transferrable and are not refundable.
