Medieval Falconry Day

If you’re looking for a day out The Bishop’s Palace’s Medieval Falconry Day is on Monday 10th April from 9.30am-5.30pm.

Held on the South Lawn, against the backdrop of the medieval Palace’s Great Hall, Tony from specialist falconry firm, Raptorcare, will entertain crowds with a day of fantastic flying displays, fascinating information and beautiful birds!

Displays will take place at 12pm and 3pm.

These displays will illustrate how these birds would have been used in Medieval times and why. Marvel at their skill and training as they show off their well-honed moves in front of the audience and in between displays, Tony can be found at his medieval tent where he can answer all of your questions.

The 14 acres of gardens will be open and The Bishop’s Table café will also be open, serving a range of drinks and snacks.

Admission:

This event is included with any standard admission.
