Attractions and things to do in Somerset

The weather in the UK may be unpredictable but we can say with some degree of certainty that you won’t get bored! There’s lots of great things to see and do in Somerset.

Glastonbury and the surrounding areas are full of activities, and areas of outstanding beauty for you to enjoy. Whether you enjoy nature, shopping, history, walking, cycling, landscapes, golf, beaches or anything else you care to think of, Somerset has it all and more.

Here we pick out some of our favourite things to do in Somerset…

Nature Reserves

Westhay Moor Nature Reserve and Shapwick Heath are a must for anyone that enjoys nature, birds and the outdoors. They are just a short bike ride away from Old Oaks. These beautiful wetland reserves have been created from old peat workings and now provide a habitat for all sorts of wildlife.
