Strode Theatre – Calendar Girls

Based on an inspiring true story, this uplifting production celebrates friendship, courage, and the extraordinary things ordinary people can achieve.

When the beloved husband of one of their members dies, a group of women from a small Yorkshire Women’s Institute decide to honour his memory by doing something completely unexpected.

To raise money for charity, they create an artistic nude calendar, challenging stereotypes and surprising their community.

What starts as a simple fundraising idea soon turns into a life-changing experience. Along the way, the women discover strength, friendship, and the courage to step outside their comfort zones.

This touching story blends humour and heartfelt emotion, making it a truly unforgettable theatre experience.
