United in Song is a special evening celebrating the power and beauty of male voice harmony, featuring the acclaimed Chester Male Voice Choir and the much-loved Glastonbury Male Voice Choir.
Chester Male Voice Choir
An award-winning and highly sought-after choir, Chester Male Voice Choir is known for its modern image and eclectic repertoire spanning a wide range of musical genres. Led by Musical Director Joe Mann, the choir has raised many thousands of pounds for charities and good causes.
Over the years, the choir has performed in the presence of Elizabeth II and other members of the Royal Family, made several recordings, and appeared on television and radio. Since their first tour in 1971, they have travelled extensively across the UK and abroad, performing in prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Hereford Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral, and the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
Glastonbury Male Voice Choir
The Glastonbury Male Voice Choir is a vibrant and welcoming ensemble of more than 40 singers united by a shared love of music and the joy of performing together. Led by Musical Director Alice Dicker, the choir performs in rich four-part harmony with a repertoire spanning classical, sacred, folk, and contemporary music.
Whether performing in theatres, local churches, or grand venues such as Wells Cathedral and the Glastonbury Extravaganza, the choir brings warmth, energy, and excitement to every performance.
Founded in 1923, the choir proudly celebrates its heritage while embracing new audiences and opportunities. As a registered charity, Glastonbury Male Voice Choir continues to raise thousands of pounds for local and national causes, sharing music that uplifts, inspires, and brings people together.
