Experience open-air Shakespeare in Somerset as The Lord Chamberlain’s Men return to The Bishop’s Palace for an unmissable outdoor performance of Othello.

Set in the historic gardens of the Palace in the heart of Wells, this is one of the standout outdoor theatre events in Somerset for summer 2026.

This open-air production captures the intensity and poetry of Shakespeare’s original text and gripping tragedy, Othello, telling a devastating story of jealousy, manipulation and betrayal.
