EVENT NOT YET CONFIRMED FOR 2021
Another chance to pack up your picnic basket, grab a couple of chairs and enjoy the atmosphere of this well-established open-air music event, set in the glorious Glastonbury Abbey grounds. The event usually takes place at the end of August, however, during Covid times, it’s not confirmed if the event will take place in 2021 yet.
Glastonbury Abbey’s annual spectacle of lights, music and entertainment is set among the ruins of this historic spot and plays host to bands from all over the UK as well as the finest local talent, across 5 stages.
Bring a torch, camera and your family and friends to experience the spectacularly illuminated Glastonbury Abbey ruins in all their atmospheric beauty. Another summer highlight for locals and visitors alike.
Why not make an evening of it?
Gates open at 5pm. Bring your picnic chairs and fleecy blankets. Maybe even a picnic, although there is a bar and food is available. Spend the evening chatting, singing along and enjoying the atmosphere and ambience of the wonderful Abbey grounds. Well behaved dogs are permitted on leads.
Book a seat on the Old Oaks coach (for guests staying at the park) at just £8.50 per person, return. This way, you can leave the car behind, maybe have a glass or two of the local tipple with no worries about parking or traffic jams. Book the coach on our sister website here.
Tickets for the event will be available from the Glastonbury Abbey website or the Abbey shop in Glastonbury (when released).
Coach departs Old Oaks at 4.45pm. (subject to change when full details of event are available).
Returns from coach park (5 mins from Abbey) at approx 10.30pm.
