Enjoy walks in some of the UK’s most beautiful countryside with a stay at Old Oaks. We’re surrounded by stunning scenery and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
If your idea of holiday heaven is getting out there and exploring the great outdoors then you’re in for a treat. There’s a myriad of footpaths and walkways that start and end at our park, so you won’t have to travel for miles to begin your trek.
* For your convenience, we’ve put together 2 new walking folders (located in our Tourist Information room), for you to peruse at your leisure plus we’ve got loads of laminated copies of all our walks which you can borrow free of charge (or you can buy your own copy if desired). *Due to Coronavirus, our Tourist Information room may be closed. Please print the maps before you come to visit.
Right on your doorstep
We’ve tried, tested and documented a whole bunch of walking routes for you, all of which start right from our campsite, so no need to get in a car. The following walks (in pdf format) can be viewed, downloaded and printed from your computer. So you can print them all off and bring them on your next visit (or borrow ours).
Walking with your dog
We’re a dog friendly touring park, so we know many of you’ll want to get out and about with your furry friends. However, some of our walks will take you through fields which may have cattle or sheep, so please be aware of this and keep your pets under control.
A little further afield
We’ve also put together a second folder of other walks a little further afield (not all tried and tested). Here’s what we’ve got so far:
